Coronal mass ejection followed by a prominence eruption and a plasma blob as observed by Solar Orbiter

چکیده
On February 12, 2021 two subsequent eruptions occurred above the West limb, as seen along Sun-Earth line. The first event was a typical slow Coronal Mass Ejection (CME), followed $\sim 7$ hours later by smaller and collimated prominence eruption, originating Southward with respect to CME, plasma blob. These events were observed not only SOHO STEREO-A missions, but also suite of remote sensing instruments on-board Solar Orbiter (SolO). This work shows how data acquired Full Sun Imager (FSI), Metis coronagraph, Heliospheric (SoloHI) from SolO perspective can be combined study different source regions. Moreover, we show analyzed provide new information about solar eruptions. Different 3D reconstruction methods applied spacecraft including SolO. Images both channels in Visible Light (VL) H I Lyman$-\alpha$ line (UV) derive physical on expanding plasma. polarization ratio technique for time images VL channel. their region expansion intermediate corona. Thanks combination UV data, formation post-CME Current Sheet (CS) temperature gradient across blob propagating CS measured time. Application that, thanks four measurements, errors are reduced 5-7$\%, thus better constraining distribution

Solar Mini-Dimming Kinematics and Their Positive Correlations with Coronal Mass Ejections and Prominence
Solar mini-dimmings can be detect in the Extreme Ultra-Violet coronal eruptions. Here, sequences of 171_A images taken by Solar Dynamic Observatory/Atmospheric Imaging Assembaly on 13 June 2010 are used. In this special day, both of coronal mass ejection and prominence were observed. The average velocities and accelerations of 500 mini-dimmings which were detected using on feature based classif...
متن کاملAnomalous-plasmoid-ejection-induced secondary magnetic reconnection: modeling solar flares and coronal mass ejections by laser–plasma experiments
The driving mechanism of solar flares and coronal mass ejections is a topic of ongoing debate, apart from the consensus that magnetic reconnection plays a key role during the impulsive process. While present solar research mostly depends on observations and theoretical models, laboratory experiments based on high-energy density facilities provide the third method for quantitatively comparing as...
متن کاملA White-light Prominence observed by TRACE
A “white-light prominence” is a flare visible in the continuum above the solar limb. Few examples of this phenomenon have been reported, but the tremendous event of 2003 November 4 was detected by several instruments. This was a partially occulted flare. We report here a detailed study of a much weaker event, seen in this case from a flare whose chromospheric component was on the disk. We find....
